Every event happening in Miami on the first week of May is NOT a SweetHeat Event nor is the entire function called SweetHeat or Miami Pride…..
Miami Beach Pride is April 15th…one day.
Sweet Heat is an all-woman event put on for profit in Miami, Beach from May 3-7th. Their events are held on the same weekend as Aqua Girl®, however the two are not related and patrons are often confused about who hosts which events.
Aqua Girl®. (May 2-6th) This is a fundraiser for The Aqua Foundation for Women. It is the only non for profit event of its kind and has 100% of the proceeds go directly to fund AFW, a not-for-profit foundation whose primary mission is to serve as a funding catalyst for lesbian, bisexual, and transgender wellness and equality in South Florida through grants, scholarships, and initiatives.

10 Tips To Ensure You Have A Great Time....
1.) If you're not going through the main website, try to book your room closer to the lower street numbers (6th-10th)...if not, pack some comfy shoes because the blocks are long.
2.) Pre-plan which parties you are going to attend. They are not the average $8-12 buck parties most are use to so unless you're balling out of control, and most of us are not, plan accordingly. The AquaGirl website lists the events in advance as well as their prices and some specials.
3.) Don't over pack! It's South Beach! Most of the time you will be in tank tops, wife-beaters and flip flops. Save the extra room in your suitcase for souvenirs.
4.) Every fruity drink is NOT a pu$$y drink! ESPECIALLY if it's coming from Wet Willies! Know your limits, make sure you eat, have a bottle of water with you and if necessary have some cab fare in your pocket!
5.) Don't feel like walking? Tired of cabs? Want to look cool? Get a scooter! $55 bucks will get you one for an entire day and trust me, after awhile a lot of girls are LOOKING for the ones with the wheels because they are tired of walking (lol).
6.) Hit the liquor store! It saves you even more money, plus it gives the ladies more incentives to go back to your room. Who doesn't want a free drink?!
7.) You HAVE to go to the King of Diamonds strip club at least once! Preferably on a Monday!
8.) RedBull is your friend.
9.) This is not the place for jealous couples. There are a lot of pretty, half-naked and overly-willing women here! Someone is going to look at you, flirt with you....hell, depending on the time of night they may even touch you! But understand that it is all in good fun and a simple "no thank you" works just as well as a punch in the face.
10.) Make sure the people you come with reflects your own personality. If you are a beach bum and just want to chill, hanging with constant party-goers will annoy you and vice versa!
