FEMME OF THE MONTH.....
In honor of the month of April, how adorable would it be that our Femme of The Month's name is April?
This month, we wanted to do something different. Unlike our previously featured Femmes, April is straight and happily married, however, as a D.I.N reader she is willing to offer a bit of her heterosexual insight in exchange for a further understanding of our lifestyle.

MEET APRIL....
1.) What is one question you have always wanted to ask a Dom?
Why aren't you attracted to tall women?! I understand that the Dom is supposed to feel "dominate" but I think it's silly. I am a 6 foot tall athlete. So, IF I wanted to date a Dom she'd have be a Brittney Griner? That's crazy.
2.) What is one question that you have always wanted to ask a Trans Man?
What would make you want to live your life as a complete man vs. just as a stud?
3.) Why do you think it is so hard for society to fully accept lesbians who dress in men's clothing?
We live in a world of tradition and things that appear to be nontraditional are typically unaccepted. The world and the people in it are ever evolving. I personally believe, what a person chooses to wear shouldn't dictate their character.
4.) Has reading DinMag helped at all in your understanding of the lifestyle? If so, how so? If not, what can we do to expose the lifestyle more?
DinMag has helped significantly. I find it interesting to view other people's opinions of the lifestyle. Ignorance is bliss, so the more you know the more you grow. Sounds cliche but it helps in understanding this lifestyle the next time you find yourself wanting to judge someone who is not like you. I'd like you guys to really get into the mind frame of Doms/Femmes and really peel back the layers and find out how they truly feel about their own lifestyle.
5.) Why do you think straight women freak out about the thought of eating vagina when they have one?
Aaaah the old vajayjay question. (Laughs). I think it freaks me out because I know how they work. They aren't the most attractive body part; they leak, they sometimes smell, they can be extra hairy etc. The clitoris can be very intimidating because they all aren't perfect like mine! :-) It's just a lot to take in for a straight woman but if you have a strong desire for it then it wouldn't bother you. I'm not there. At all.
6.) What makes a Dom appealing to "straight women"? (i.e- clothing choice, long hair, personality etc.)
I think it's the outer shell resembling a man but with feminine attributes. Some Doms have a swag out of this world!..combine that with their soft features..a nice smile, neat hair and clothes and great conversation can almost make you forget that they are actually women. That to me is the most intriguing part.
7.) If you were not married, would you ever consider dating a Trans Man? Why or Why not?
Hmmm...that's a serious question. I'm the type of person that loves people and if I would've fallen in love with this person and they were honest about it from the beginning I'm sure I would. I'm not here to judge anyone for the choices they've made...regardless of anything, everyone deserves love.
8.) When you met a Dom for the first time, what was the first thing that popped into your mind?
OMG, I was afraid!!.....then it turned into an attraction.....which turned into curiosity. I wish DinMag was around to explain all this to me back in 1997! Ha!
9.) Do you believe that Doms want to be men?
No. Not all of them. I've met some that called each other bro, are a part of gay "fraternities", urinated standing up (yes chile, they go that far) but it just depends on the person. I've also met some that knew they were women but just felt more comfortable in men's clothing.
10.) How do you feel about Trans Men who conceal their past identity?
I definitely think that this should be told up front. It's similar to a transgender woman who didn't reveal that she was previously a man. People are crazy these days and because the dynamics of the relationship are so substantial it's best to start off being honest and let that person decide whether or not this is something they can live with.
